1940s NAVAJO CROSSED ARROWS & TURQUOISE BRACELET

Sterling,  as was common during that time frame it is not marked or signed.  The BRACELET is a perfect example of the early jewelry made for the early interest in products from the reservations, sold in hotels and stores to the intrepid travelers.   About 2 5/8 inches across, an inch wide at the top, this bracelet will fit an small to average wrist.  Shown with the patina of time, it can be moderately  bright polished if preferred.   Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.

Excellent example of the Jerusalem Cross genre!   The cross is marked Sterling 935 Jerusalem and is set with an oval Tiger-eye gemstone.   Tiger-eye is a natural gemstone of the Quartz group and it exhibits a wavy light-ray and a silky luster.   The cross is 2 1/4 inches wide and suspended from a 28 inch wheat chain, marked 925.    NECKLACE is encased in silk lined wood box, the top of which is hand carved with a cross.   Vintage estate jewelry in like new excellent condition.

STERLING, MARCASITE BROOCH, EDWARDIAN

Lovely treasure from about 1920.  Victorian influence is seen in the dangles but the scrolls & skinny mil grain finished knife edge is pure Edwardian.  Shape is reminiscent of a cuckoo clock.   The marcasites were properly hand set, and all are still in place.  The center is a black glass or onyx plaque and above it is a chrysoprase-green, faceted glass stone.  Marked 925,  early latching C clasp, about 3 1/4 inches, vintage jewelry in very good condition.
