FINE FILIGREE WIRE, ENAMEL & BLUE TOPAZ BRACELET

The filigree style was originally a Mongolian craft which filtered into China centuries ago.  Sterling silver wire is shaped, with tweezers, into the desired design, then fused in ovens with silver dust, then enamed & fired again before the Blue Topaz gemstones are set and  the silver is finished with gold plating.   7 1/8 inches long x 3/8 inch wide, the links are curved to fit the wrist.   New contemporary fine jewelry.  Estimated retail $180.

STUNNINGLY EFFECTIVE LARGE COIN BROOCH

It doesn't matter that these coins are from elsewhere, it is a fabulous BROOCH.   The coins are Southern Rhodesia; the larger ones are shield embossed Half-Crowns dated 1944, the smaller ones are bird embossed Shillings, dated 1944 & 1946.  The obverse has King Emporer George VI. Vintage costume jewelry, gold tone,  in excellent condition,  2 5/8 inches wide x 2 3/4 inches high.

The picture doesn't capture the essence of this BROOCH.   It is large, 4 1/4 inches long, with huge, unfoiled, faceted teardrop petals.  The center is a 12 mm, faceted rhinestone in  richly colored  aurora borealis Black Diamond, and it is outlined in tiny, intense  aurora borealis sapphire blues, which are repeated between the edges of of the petals.   Textured, hand soldered  gold tone, high quality piece, no signature, vintage costume jewelry in like new excellent condition.
