BACHELOR'S BUTTON ENAMEL BROOCH

Also known as the Blue Cornflower, this BROOCH is 2 3/4 inches long.  Two colors of blue centered by a cluster of rhinestones create the bloom, which is riveted to the body of the plant.  Pavé  rhinestones cover the ribbon, the underside of one leaf and the cut of the stem.  Circa 1940-50, the brooch is rhodium plated.  Amazingly there is no signature.   Vintage costume jewelry, there are small chips and flakes off the very edges of some petals and the bud and rather than detracting from the visual, they seem to add character to it.

GLOWING GOLD FOIL BEAD NECKLACE *** set ***

Lovely beads, the gold foil wound inside each bead has been dappled with bits of pink and green which "flows" with the gold, and is made all the more subtle because the bead itself has a milky, almost lavender sheen.  The beads are 8 mm, about 26.5 inches long.  Freshly restrung, the ends are finished with french wire and new clasp was added.  The 11 mm ball earrings are screw back.  The ball can be transferred to gold filled french wire at no extra cost, if preferred, make note in comments section of the Shopping Cart.

FEATHER LIKE LEAF DESIGN IN BLUE ~ EARRINGS

Molded leaves in two complimentary blue colors, the thermoset plastic has a moonglow-sheen appearance derived from the mirror backing.  Two dark Sapphire blue rhinestones complete the silver tone clip EARRINGS.   Signed Lisner, vintage costume jewelry,   1 1/4 inch, excellent condition like new on the front, slight wear on the clips.

LATE VICTORIAN MULTI-GOLD-TONE CHAIN NECKLACE

The leaves on each side of the center of the link are rose gold and green gold, sometimes both on a single leaf.  The center two-lobe piece is yellow gold over a circlet of green gold.  Our ancestors were very thrifty and it appears that all of those pieces are "gold front", which is the thinest bit of gold on top of base metal, not enough gold to count, but nice to look at.  All other parts are likely plated base metal.   Antique jewelry , in excellent condition,  about 18 inches.  The spring ring floats freely on a jump ring and is difficult to clasp.  Sparkles will be happy to add a hook for ease of wearing.

SOLD! 0810.. SWEEPING LAYERED BROOCH

1960S BROOCH, the shape is somewhat like the sweep of a feathered wing.  There is a hidden layer of rhinestone feather ends, please click on the thumbnail to see the enlargement.  The long gold tone sweep ends in pavé clear rhinestone tips, which overlay the large, unfoiled, faceted topaz glass stones, and they overlay a second layer of rhinestone tips, seen from some directions and not others.  Construction is riveted in two layers.   Quality vintage costume jewelry in like new excellent condition,  about 1 5/8 inches long, no signature.

Transparent green enamel lily pad with a raised white enamel flower on each.  Glass enamel on Sterling, with a gold wash on the reverse side.  The clip EARRINGS are marked D-A next to a symbol in a circle, above 925S Sterling Norway, with a W inside a circle.  Vintage estate jewelry in like new condition,  7/8 inch.

FAUX CARVED JADE NECKLACE ~  circa 1920-30

The art of glass, these Bohemiam beads are heavily dappled with light and medium green ... a great imitation of jadite.  The faux, simulated carved plaque is a basket and floral design within a pierced antiqued gold tone frame.  The plaque is solid on the back with a decorative filigree overlay.   About 20 inches long, the large beads are 11 mm, the small separating beads range from 5 mm in the front to 4 mm at the back.    Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.

OUT OF THIS WORLD STERLING BROOCH

Do you wonder what stimulated the imagination of the maker of this brooch?  Obviously another planet, the raised band of rhinestones may be the equator and the encircling triple band would be Saturn like rings.  The planet is studded with multi-color rhinestones set in star shape cavities.  Original rose gold tone plated over sterling, the front has some remnants of the plating; the back is still plated.  This was a stunner in its day, which is presumed to be 1950-60s.  Hallmarked "HARRIS"  and marked Sterling.   Vintage costume jewelry,  about 2 inches.

The center is a lozenge of transparent, liquid looking sea green over a metallic back, giving it a soft sheen.  Set on white and seaweed green glass enamel fused to copper.  Not signed, but if you know Denning's jewelry you will recognize the lozenge style.   Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.

VINTAGE, FLATTERING IVORY NECKLACE

The five flowing links in the front of the NECKLACE are carefully cut and fitted to flatter.  Altogether they measure 4 1/2 inches.   The beads are graduated from 5mm to 4.5 mm.  Total length is 18 inches, width at the front is 7/8 inch.   Vintage ivory from the 1970s, estate jewelry in like new condition.  The telltale Schraeger (growth) lines are clearly evident in areas of the ivory. Estimated replacement value $450.
