CIRCA 1910 FLORAL BROOCH

The flower, with green-gold tone textured leaves and a multi petal, rosy gold tone shiny flower, centered with a single hyacinth color rhinestone, resides inside an antiqued gold tone oval frame which has been cut on the diagnonal.  The portion of the frame that is visible has an impressed design and the shiny rim is a "gold front", that it, it is a thin sheet of karat gold applied to the base metal.   Vintage costume jewelry, 1 5/8 inches,  in excellent condition., the brooch has a simple c clasp and also a tiny ring at the bottom, on the back, which was probably for attaching something.

NAVY, DRUM AND BUGLE BROOCH

Naval crest in gold tone and enamel is applied to the front of the drum, which is suspended from a chain along with crossed drumsticks with a bit of red white and blue enamel.  In good condition, one set of sticks is gold tone, the other silver tone, the plating of the bugle is a little worn.   Vintage costume jewelry, circa WWII, about 1 3/4 inches.

Beautiful rhodium plated sterling basket delightfully floral filled with an open bouquet of clear rhinestones and light sapphire blue baguettes.  The basket imitates woven wicker and the handle is set with clear and light blue round rhinestones.  The BROOCH is  1 5/8 inches.  The matching screw back EARRINGS are 1 inch.  High quality vintage 1940s costume jewelry in like new condition, sterling, signed with CA with an arrow running through the letters.

14K VICTORIAN BROOCH WITH ENAMELING, DIAMONDS AND PEARLS

Terrific, large  Victorian Brooch, circa about 1880.   Lovely, detailed retro elements extending from the frame.  This brooch is a bit of  a mystery.   It appears that the whole may have grown from a simple locket, the oval in the center, with the beautiful enameled star   overlaid with another star burst set with diamonds and pearls appears to be the original piece.  It has a twist frame closely around it and is recessed within a knife-edge frame, which has another twist frame against  its base, then a nice, smooth, flat frame from which flows the fancy fin-like and scroll parts.  The straight, short, flat pieces (top and bottom) screw into the  bottom and provide permanent sturdiness to the pretty center locket.  Later a circa 1910 latching c clasp was added and also a hook for hanging an additional piece, probably a ladies lapel watch.  From the back, one sees the rough edges of the original locket.  Antique estate jewelry in excellent condition.  Estimated retail value $1500+.

CELEBRATION CHARM

18K GOLD CHAMPAGNE BOTTLE AND ICE BUCKET

Vintage charm,  like new,  was never added to a bracelet.  The bottle is shiny with a red enamel cap and is fixed in the bucket, which has two carry-rings on the sides.  Marked 750  (18 K) on the bottom.   Dimensional, about 7/8 inch, estate jewelry.  A new jump ring has been added for convenience of having it soldered to bracelet.

SOLD! 0810.. CUSTOM MADE BROOCH/PENDANT

Round disk with rounded edges tests sterling.  The design reminds one of beaded raindrops.  There are three natural gemstones, an oval peridot, a pear shape amber and a small round tanzanite at the bottom.  The BROOCH is  1 5/8 inches.   It has a lare loop on the back for wearing on a chain or a rigid collar, as well as the pin back.   From the estate of an art aficionado, who spent lavishly and  choose her jewelry for effect.   Sparkles has sterling chains in various lengths, suitable for this pendant.

CERVUS ALCES, BPOE, ELKS TOOTH 10 K GOLD FOB

Vintage, this is an old one in really excellent condition.   The gold has tested at 10K.  The enamel, which is the words Cervus Alces, a white clock face (behind the antlers) and BPOE, is in perfect condition.  Three personal initials are lightly inscribed on the back.  Unable to find this exact one on the many websites, it is presumed to be 1930 or before.   Total weight, is 8.1 grams, and it measures 1 5/8 inches. One ruby eye is missing.

UNITED STATE MARINE CORP SYMBOL ~ BROOCH

The Eagle, Globe and Anchor is the official emblem of the United States Marine Corp.  The current emblem traces its roots in the designs and ornaments of the early Continental Marines and the British Royal Marines.  The Brooch  was made and signed by the Trifari Company and is gold plated sterling, possibly the 1940s WWII era.   Vintage costume jewelry in very good condition,, 1 1/8 inch.

ELABORATE RHINESTONE PENDANT

The design and workmanship in the pendant reminds one of early Haskell, however, among the many elements, there is a thistle in the clasp, which possibly means that it is actually from Scotland.  Era is being guessed at about 1935 or  later.  The 2 1/2 inch pendant has three, faceted crystal beads, wired loosely enough to have small movement.   All the other elements are fixed in place on silver tone filigree.   The back is covered with a silver tone filigree, thicker than the type used by Haskell and other makers of the era.  Confirmation of it's early manufacture is the scant 15 inch neck circumference.   Vintage costume jewelry in very good condition.
