VINTAGE ALASKAN IVORY & NATURAL GOLD NUGGET From yesteryear, native art carved in Alaska as evidenced by the
use of the tiny natural gold nugget. The pin is 1 3/8
inches. The pin fastening is attached with glue and is
secure. Vintage estate jewelry, ivory, in excellent
condition. |

LATE VICTORIAN FOB ~ PENDANT OR CHARM The top and the bottom halves of the fob are heavily textured gold tone
with both rose tone and silver tone, raised, five petal florets. The
center is a pierced band, with raised gold tone florets.
Suspended from an 18 inch chain, the sphere is approx 5/8 inch. Wear
it as a pendant, or add it to a bracelet, or use it as a fob.
Vintage estate jewelry in excellent condition.

DOUBLE STRAND AURORA BOREALIS NECKLACE The graduated beads in this NECKLACE all have the same
transparent gray base color. The tremendous sparkle and the muted
colors of the rainbow come from the aurora borealis coatings.
Unsigned but top quality, the beads are on chain and finished with a white
gold tone Art Deco style box clasp. Total length is 18 inches.

LARGE OSTRICH BROOCH, AQUA BELLY 1940s gold tone BROOCH the tail feathers are set with sparkling
rhinestones, the belly is a large, transparent aqua color glass stone, and
the tiny eye is turquoise color. Worn and loved by someone, the
plating is lightly worn on the beak and head, and the four prongs show as
silver color with loss of plating, still looks great. Vintage
costume jewelry, 3 inches. The rhinestones have been replaced
with fresh ones. |

1960s TEXTURED FLOWER BROOCH The pairing of gunmetal gray and rich gold tone is very effective in
this design. Assembled in two tiers, the BROOCH is 2 inches.
Both sections have a linear florentine texture. Vintage
costume jewelry circa 1960, in excellent
condition. |

COROCRAFT CHRISTMAS TREE Textured gold tone lattice completed filled with clear, sparkling
rhinestones. Note the twisted trunk. Vintage costume
jewelry in excellent condition, 2 1/2 inches. This circa
1960s tree, in color rhinestones, is seen in Christmas
Jewelry by Mary Morrison, page 26, price referenced $60 - $120, and
in Christmas Pins Past and Presend, by Jill Gallina , p. 31 in color and
also in clear rhinestones, price reference $70 - $100, pricing dated 2004.

ROADRUNNER BROOCH, VERY OLD Sterling, almost surely by a southwestern Indian artisan,
circa 1950. Inlaid with Tortoise shell, turquoise, mother of pearl
and coral. Vintage costume jewelry, 1 5/8 inches, in excellent
condition. |

14K WHITE GOLD ART DECO FILIGREE RING, OVER 1/2 CARAT, SIZE SMALL 14K white gold, vintage filigree ring CIRCA 1920. Excellent
condition, set with a single diamond, Old European cut, very sparkly and
white. The ring size is 3.5. It appears that the shank had
previously been sized smaller, so the ring can probably be sized
larger, one or two sizes or perhaps 3. Estimated retail
replacement $1960.00. |

AKOYA CULTURED PEARL NECKLACE ~ FINE QUALITY Graduated Japanese Akoya 17.5 inch cultured pearl strand; the
pearls range from 7 mm to 3 mm, with a 14K white gold filigree
fishhook clasp. This is an old strand circa 1950 from the
days of excellent quality. The pearls are round, perfectly matched
in color, high luster, and basically free of blemishes, quality
is rated as Fine-Very Fine. Estimated retail replacement
$1,450. The cord is clean and in good condition .. the pearls
were probably never worn. If you prefer the more contemporary
look of knotting between the pearls, Sparkles will be happy to
have that done for you, for an additional $30. Select the new length
at 18 or 19 inches. |

FRESHWATER CULTURED PEARL STRAND, BIG 9-10 MM Eighteen inch strand of Chinese freshwater pearls, fastened with a 14K
yellow gold filigree fish hook clasp. These are large
"statement" pearls, and while not actually round, they give the impression
of being round. The color is well matched with nice luster
and there is only very moderate spotting and minor
blemishes. Knotted between pearls, the cord is good condition
and clean. Sparkles will reimburse your return shipping if
you are not highly pleased with these for the price. Estimated retail
replacement $225. |

SPARKLE, SPARKLE, SPARKLE FUN VERY LONG, a river of rhinestones of glistening rhinestones, about 60
inches. Double it or triple it for real flash. Wonderful
visual of a repeating design of 6 mm rhinestones
separated by a row of three 4 mm rhinestones. All prong
set in silver tone. Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.

SANDOR COPPER AND SAPPHIRE-BLUE *** set *** Stylized copper "ribbon" threads through a circle with extentions
terminating in kite shape, unfoiled blue sapphire color glass stones and
shooting rays terminating with tiny clear rhinestones. The
1040s BROOCH is almost 3 inches. The screw back earrings are 1
inch. Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition. This
unsigned set is almost surely Sandor; reference the very similar bow
brooch p 150, Masterpieces of Costume Jewelry, Ball & Torem.,
price reference $350-450. |

Costume jewelry was and is made in all levels of quality. A certain amount of costume jewelry that was inexpensively made has become collectible.
