Most of the cufflinks are toggle bar style, but if the type of back is indicative of a time frame, I have either shown it in the picture or will describe it. Cufflinks may be costume jewelry (made from non precious materials), karat gold, or sterling, and precious stones. Please read the descriptions carefully.
Some cufflinks have been enlarged for better detail. A few have been grossly enlarged to obtain detail. Please check the written measurements for accuracy. Sparklz welcomes questions and will provide additional pictures if needed.

VINTAGE IVORY CUFFLINKS - TALL SHIPS Scrimshawed by hand depicting the tall sailing ships of a
bygone era. High quality ivory, they are 7/8 inch square with
cut corners. and toggle fasteners. Vintage cuff links in like
new condition, circa unknown, probably after 1960.

WIND-UP MUSIC BOX TIE BAR This same music box has been seen as a charm on bracelets, probably
circa 1960s. It winds and it plays, though the tune is not
identified. Gold tone, vintage estate jewelry, in excellent
condition., the clip-on bar is 1 3/4 inches long.

MODERNE STYLE CUFFLILNKS , BY SWANK Silver tone, solid metal rectangle scored on two of the faces with
diagonal design, shiny on the opposite two faces. The ends are
capped with a square of jet black. Marked Swank,
classic vintage costume jewelry cufflinks in excellent

HIDDEN FACES MOTHER OF PEARL CAMEO CUFFLINKS & TIE BAR Highly unusual cameos portray three people. There is the helmeted
Roman soldier facing right, on the back of his helmet is a female figure
with wrap across the hair, and there is a balding large nose gent across
the front of the helmet. Two separate pieces, the rectangular
plaques are Mother of Pearl and the applied cameo is brown mother of
pearl. The fancy frame is hand engraved and set with tiny
marcasites. The tie bar is hand engraved. 800 silver. By
the style of the images and the handwork in the silver, they are
likely circa 1910. Vintage estate jewelry in excellent

GEORG JENSEN STERLING CUFFLINKS ~ HALF APPLE MOTIF The half apple is raised slightly above a black Niello ground and has a
raised frame edge. Sterling cuff links signed Georg Jensen inside a
dotted oval. Marked 925 silver Norway (design no) 111, on the
t-bar. 1 inch, in excellent condition. Vintage estate

MERCURY DIME VINTAGE CUFFLINKS Winged Liberty Head Dime, 1941 and 1942, set in gold tone, textured
frame, toggle cuff links. Vintage costume
jewelry, about 1 inch, in excellent condition.

VINTAGE IVORY SCRIMSHAW CUFFLINKS A matching pair of tall ships have been scrimshawed in black into the 1
1/8 inch ivory. Vintage ivory, undoubtedly from Alaska, it is tooth
or tusk, probably Walrus. Vintage costume jewelry in like new
excellent condition., with gold tone toggles.

worn on the gold plated reverse. Toggle vintage cufflinks, 1 inch,

COMEDY/TRAJEDY STERLING CUFFLINKS Antiqued rhodium plated sterling (marked), with hinged

CHINESE DRAGON HEAD CUFFLINKS Hand made sterling, head of a dragon (eyes at the top, fire curling out
to the sides. 7/8 inches vintage estate jewelry in excellent

LODGE MASON 32ND DEGREE CUFF LINKS Black NIELLO enamel ~ in appearance it is metallic,
and most often appears in combination with sterling. The design is
engraved into the metal, a process similar to Champleve', however the
design is filled with a metallic powder combination of silver cooper, lead
& sulphur, then fired before polishing. These cuff links seem to
represent 32nd degree Masonry, in gold tone on black.
The cuff links are 3/4 inch, and the small design on the backs appear to
be two butterflies. Vintage cuff links, circa
1900-1920. |
