This beauty tends to show more orange in the picture than it actually is.  The color is a mellow medium salmon and so natural looking that it will easily pass for coral.  Two strand necklace of glass seed beads, woven flat.  About sixteen inches long, fastens with a spring ring.   Vintage costume jewelry circa 1940-50, in excellent condition.

CIRCUS BEAD NECKLACE & EARRINGS.

Hand carved, bone beads are ivory color, stained in black to bring out the details.   The center beads are two tigers and two elephants.  The other beads represent the drums on which the animals usually perform and are decorated with stars and circles and are perforated.   They are separated by plain black rondels, thought to be glass.   There is some variance in the size of the beads due to their hand-fabricated nature.  22 inches long.   Matching earrings with sterling shepherd's hooks, 2 inches long not including the hook.  From an estate, vintage costume jewelry, probably circa 1970.

LUSH ITALIAN MULTI-STRAND WITH HAND WIRED CLASP

One can't help waxing poetic about the beads in this NECKLACE.  They are little, pillow shapes with the holes drilled at an angle so that they are off center.  They are moonstone blue , slightly pearlized and the inside hole has been coated or dyed dark blue so that a stripe appears to go through each bead.  They are beauties and much prettier than the picture shows.   Eight strands of beads, gathered in two bead caps on each end and attached to a clasp hand wired with a bead bonnet.  The back of the gold tone clasp is marked "Italy".   Twenty inches long, in excellent condition.   Vintage costume jewelry, age unknown, in excellent like new condition.

STRAND OF FINE AKOYA CULTURED SALTWATER PEARLS

16 1/2 inch necklace, 52 cultured pearls, 7-6.5 mm in size, knotted strand with 14K white gold fishhook clasp.     The pearls are very nice quality, light creamy white in color,  round, good orient, very lightly dimpled.   Estimated retail replacement value is approximately $900 -$1000.  Fine estate jewelry in excellent condition.   Priced at about wholesale.

CORAL COLORS -- BEAD STRAND

The nugget shape, glass beads are in imitation of black coral.  The coral color glass beads are the most interesting I've seen.  They are wound beads with  variegated striations and what is is unique is that the potato shape ones each have a small circular swirl of color on each of the faces and this is imitation of the growth "knot" sometimes seen in natural coral.  About 31 inches long, gold tone fish hook clasp.   Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.
